Gunn and Cupertino are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Pioneers at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gunn comes in on three and Cupertino on 11.

On Monday, Gunn was able to grind out a solid victory over Wilcox, taking the game 3-1.

While Gunn might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Wilcox scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cupertino earned a 3-1 win over Lynbrook on Monday.

Cupertino had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

Cupertino's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Gunn, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Gunn came up short against Cupertino when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
