Baseball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Princeton Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 on Wednesday.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Princeton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Northmont on the 26th. As for Princeton, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Roger Bacon on the 26th.
