Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin managed to slip by Ingraham the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Quakers came up short against the Rams on Thursday, falling 18-4. The Quakers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Ingraham, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will welcome Rainier Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Ingraham, they will host Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 23.27 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
