The Timothy Christian Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Wheaton North Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Timothy Christian will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Timothy Christian was able to grind out a solid win over St. Edward, taking the game 2-0.

Timothy Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Wheaton North took on Leyden on Wednesday. The Falcons came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wheaton North took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8.

Timothy Christian's record now sits at 21-2. As for Wheaton North, their record is now 14-11.

Timothy Christian beat Wheaton North 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
