Basketball Recap: Horse Creek Academy Takes a Loss

Horse Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats and fell 82-38. The Stallions were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

It was another big night for India Williams, who posted 27 points for Westminster Schools of Augusta. The game was Williams' seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Baker, who put up eight points.

Horse Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, Horse Creek Academy and Williston-Elko will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they are on the road again on December 27th to play Great Falls at 11:00 a.m.
