Brazosport is 9-1 against Bay City since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Exporters will head out on the road to take on the Blackcats at 5:30 p.m. Neither Brazosport nor Bay City posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Brazosport came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against El Campo, falling 8-2.

Sanii Player was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Bay City fell victim to Columbia and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roughnecks. The Blackcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bay City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Brazosport, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Brazosport beat Bay City 9-5 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Exporters since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
