Baseball Recap: Bishop Feehan Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Bishop Feehan entered their tilt with Wellesley on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Raiders 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bishop Feehan got a great performance from Jack Gasse as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Gasse has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Connor Pullen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Randen May, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Bishop Feehan's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Wellesley, they moved to 8-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Feehan will square off against Attleboro at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Wellesley, they will face off against Walpole at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
