 Port St. Joe scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Chiles Timberwolves with a sharp  17-7 win. The result was nothing new for Port St. Joe, who have now won three matches by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Port St. Joe got a  massive  performance out of  Addy Silcox, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base. Silcox is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   stolen at least one every time she's  taken the field this season.  Elli Newman was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 On Chiles' side,  Lilly Morris was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adelyn Matthews, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Port St. Joe's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Chiles, they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-11.
 Port St. Joe will be playing at home against North Bay Haven Academy at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Port St. Joe will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last. As for Chiles, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Blountstown at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Blountstown is coming into the  contest with five straight  wins at home,  so Chiles will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
