Baseball Recap: Nyssa Comes Up Short

Nyssa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Enterprise/Joseph Savages. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Nyssa's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Enterprise/Joseph, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nyssa will square off against Riverside at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Enterprise/Joseph, they will face off against McLoughlin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Savages surely won't give up without a fight.
