Sam Wendel put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Wednesday. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Hilliard Bradley is 2-1 when Wendel allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-8 otherwise.
