Baseball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison blew Toronto out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Toronto got their revenge. The Wildcats fell just short of the Red Knights by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 14th.

This is the second loss in a row for Edison and nudges their season record down to 12-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Toronto, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Edison will host Granville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Toronto, they will venture away from home to square off against Buckeye Local at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
