Softball Recap: Southside Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Carolina Academy last Tuesday, Southside Christian came back down to earth. The Sabres lost 11-1 to the Greenville H Hurricanes on Thursday. The Sabres were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hurricanes earlier this season, when they won 15-9.

Southside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Greenville H, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southside Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Greenville H, they will venture away from home to square off against Southside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hurricanes are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
