Basketball Recap: StoneBridge Cavaliers vs. Summit Christian Academy Eagles
StoneBridge was the 77-70 winner over Summit Christian Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers took a 56-37 bruising from the Eagles on Saturday. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Summit Christian Academy to victory were Courtland Reiter and Aiden Moore. Reiter dropped a double-double with 26 points and 17 rebounds, while Moore dropped a double-double with ten points and 16 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Reiter has scored at least a third of the Eagles' points. Titus Staton also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
StoneBridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Summit Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
