Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Powers Lake/Burke Central and fell 85-56. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Powers Lake/Burke Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

While Trinity Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
