Baseball Recap: King William Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King William can now relate to. They fell just short of the Appomattox County Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

King William's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Appomattox County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither King William nor Appomattox County have any future games scheduled.
