Soccer Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Wesleyan Christian Academy has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Covenant Day Lions. While losing is never fun, Wesleyan Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Covenant Day are ranked fourth).

Mac Mills and Pedro Petrelli scored both of Wesleyan Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Wesleyan Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Covenant Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Wesleyan Christian Academy will be playing at home against Winston Salem Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Covenant Day, they will host Davidson Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
