Basketball Recap: Collinsville Comes Up Short

Collinsville lost against Alvord back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Collinsville Pirates took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alvord Bulldogs.

Collinsville's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Alvord, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-13.

Collinsville will be playing at home against Chico at 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday. Collinsville is facing Chico at the right time seeing as Chico is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Alvord, they will head out to face off against Lindsay at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
