South Dearborn had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Rushville Lions get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Given South Dearborn's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Rushville are ranked 240th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Dearborn's offense was hitting Rushville from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Gabby Ward led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory got South Dearborn back to even at 6-6-1. As for Rushville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

South Dearborn wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Rising Sun on the 24th. As for Rushville, they will face off against Wapahani at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Rushville will be up against Wapahani's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.08 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
