1. Dutch Fork (Irmo)
2013-14 record: 20-7
Head coach: Faye Norris

The Silver Foxes won it all last season and nobody came within seven points of them in the playoffs. Their two leading scorers will return in Morgan Williams and Zhane Green. Williams averaged 14.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while Green posted 12.1 points per contest as well. Only two seniors who saw significant time have moved on, so expect another title run in Irmo.

2. Greenwood
2013-14 record: 22-7
Head coach:  Susan Thompson

The Eagles lost to Spring Valley in the title game last season and Tianna Swearinger is back for her fourth varsity season. Center Neeaulet Gibbs also returns for her fourth season, and she was the presence in the middle last season.

3. Lower Richland (Hopkins)
2013-14 record: 25-2
Head coach: Debbie Stroman

The Diamond Hornets had a great record but were bounced in the semifinals last season. This season, they will lean on the growth of Dejah Williford, who played varsity ball in eighth grade and has plenty of experience. She averaged 10 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Forward Alaysia Washington will be back for her junior season and should be a presence down on the block.

4. Orangeburg-Wilkinson
2013-14 record: 26-3
Head coach: Cedrick Simpson

The Bruins were bounced in the AAA semifinals, just like Lower Richland, and they have a new coach this season as they try to get to the finals. Leading scorer Dejoria Howard (13.5 points per game) was second in rebounding last season and will look to lead the team. Orangeburg-Wilkinson lost lots of production via graduation so the task will not be easy.

5. Spring Valley (Columbia)
2013-14 record: 22-4
Head coach: Anne Long

Cierra Carter and her 20.7 points per game are gone. But second-leading scorer Akia Dunlap returns for the Vikings. Expect Megan Davis to also be counted upon to get Spring Valley back into the playoffs.
