Soccer Game Preview: Union City vs. Obion County

The Union City Golden Tornadoes will square off against the Obion County Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Union City is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Peabody on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Obion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to Crockett County. While losing is never fun, Obion County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Crockett County are ranked 55th).

With that draw, Union City's record moves to 5-6-1. As for Obion County, they now also have a losing record of 5-6-1.
