Baseball Recap: Dakota Ridge Eagles vs. Vista Ridge Wolves
In what's become a running theme this season, Dakota Ridge gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Vista Ridge Wolves as the Dakota Ridge Eagles made off with a 7-1 victory.
Matt Larmore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, Dakota Ridge let Cole Ehlinger and Cade Collins loose on the outfield. Ehlinger scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Collins scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Sauter, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base.
