Volleyball Recap: Taft Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Taft rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the East Valley Falcons by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in March.

Taft walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-8, 25-18.

The win made it two in a row for Taft and bumps their season record up to 32-17. As for East Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-20 record this season.

Taft will welcome North Hollywood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
