Recap: Quanah Indians vs. Memphis Cyclones
The Quanah Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Memphis 86-56 on the road. Quanah has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Memphis' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braden Bond, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and six blocks. Another player making a difference was Dresden Johnson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Quanah has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Memphis, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quanah will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Clarendon at 8:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Memphis, they will face off against Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wellington will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
