Football Recap: Legacy Takes a Loss

Legacy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Garfield Bulldogs 37-6. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Legacy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jason Rodriguez, who rushed for 96 yards and one touchdown, and Jaden Camacho, who rushed for 68 yards on only nine carries.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Garfield, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Legacy will face off against South Gate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Garfield, they will take on Huntington Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
