Football Recap: Comstock Park Takes a Loss

Comstock Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Belding Black Knights 54-20. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 360th, while the Black Knights are ranked 97th).

Comstock Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Belding, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comstock Park will take on Olivet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belding, they will face off against Godwin Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Knights will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
