Basketball Recap: Bayshore Christian's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Bayshore Christian needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Tylan Lewis. The Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors claimed a resounding 68-21 win over The Classical Academy of Sarasota Patriots thanks in part to Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten steals. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Hunter Peterson, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high.

Bayshore Christian's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for The Classical Academy of Sarasota, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bayshore Christian will face off against Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bayshore Christian is facing Robinson at the right time seeing as Robinson is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for The Classical Academy of Sarasota, they will square off against Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
