It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bingham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Mountain Ridge Sentinels out 71-68. This was a revenge game for the Miners: when they faced off against the Sentinels back in January, they had to take a 61-53 defeat.

Landon Blackwell and Will Lindsay certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Blackwell posted 17 points in addition to six boards and five steals, while Lindsay dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Lindsay is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Howell, who earned nine points and three steals.

Bingham pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Mountain Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bingham will welcome Corner Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corner Canyon will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bingham surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain Ridge, they will square off against Copper Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mountain Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
