Preview: Tri-Valley vs. Millersburg
After two weeks on the road, Tri-Valley is heading back home. On Friday they take on Millersburg at 7:00 PM. Tri-Valley have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Millersburg are surely hoping to exploit.
The match between Tri-Valley and Halifax last Friday was not a total blowout, but with Tri-Valley falling 12-28, it was darn close. This makes it the second loss in a row for Tri-Valley.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-47, which was the final score in Millersburg's tilt against Newport. Millersburg were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Millersburg's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Tri-Valley defensive front that amassed five sacks against Halifax, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
