Basketball Game Preview: Grand Ledge Comets vs. Haslett Vikings

The Grand Ledge Comets will challenge the Haslett Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Grand Ledge was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-50 to Holt. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Haslett's game on Monday was all tied up 30-30 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 58-48 to Okemos. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Grand Ledge's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Haslett, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.

Grand Ledge skirted past Haslett 56-53 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Does Grand Ledge have another victory up their sleeve, or will Haslett turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
