Football Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Georgetown can now relate to. They lost 42-21 to the Lone Star Rangers on Friday. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Georgetown lost, don't look at Jett Walker. Despite the final result, he rushed for 201 yards and one score while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.

Georgetown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Malakhai Miller was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself.

A big part of Lone Star's victory came down to the chemistry between Trey Wright and his top target Zach Forbish. Wright threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes while Forbish picked up 76 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lone Star, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

As of now, neither Georgetown nor the Rangers have any future games scheduled.
