Football Recap: Saranac Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Saranac and Schuylerville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Saranac had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Horses 50-14. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Horses are ranked 37th).

Branigan Boulds threw for 34 yards on two of 14 attempts. On the ground, Chace Scovil rushed for 54 yards on only five carries.

Saranac's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Schuylerville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Saranac does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Schuylerville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 49-16 defeat against Bronxville on the 29th.
