Basketball Game Preview: Crete-Monee Warriors vs. Rich Township Raptors

Crete-Monee and Rich Township are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Crete-Monee Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Rich Township Raptors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Rich Township took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Crete-Monee, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Crete-Monee turned things around against Oak Forest on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Bengals out 42-40.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Rich Township's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Perspectives Leadership/Technology.

Crete-Monee's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Rich Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Crete-Monee was taken down by Rich Township 54-26 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Crete-Monee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
