Basketball Recap: Palmerton Comes Up Short

If Palmerton was riding high fresh off their 51-20 takedown of Moravian Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Palmerton Blue Bombers came up short against the Bangor Slaters on Thursday, falling 52-30. The match marked the Blue Bombers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Palmerton now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bangor, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Palmerton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Southern Lehigh at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Bangor, they will welcome Notre Dame-Green Pond at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Notre Dame-Green Pond's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
