Baseball Recap: Coolidge Comes Up Short

Hubbard hit Coolidge with a 13-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Yellowjackets lost 16-4 to the Jaguars. The Yellowjackets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Jaguars from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Coolidge and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Hubbard, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-17.

Coolidge has already played their next matchup, a 19-0 loss against Abbott on the 22nd. As for Hubbard, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mount Calm at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th.
