Volleyball Game Preview: Arleta Mustangs vs. Grant Lancers

Arleta is 0-7 against Grant since March of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Lancers at 4:30 p.m.

Arleta came up short against Poly two weeks ago, falling 3-0.

Arleta was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Grant came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Parrots with a sharp 3-0 win.

Grant never let Poly on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 27-25.

Grant pushed their record up to 22-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Arleta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Arleta suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Grant in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
