Volleyball Recap: James River Midlothian Takes a Loss

If James River Midlothian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Huguenot last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rapids came up short against the Midlothian Trojans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

James River Midlothian's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Midlothian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James River Midlothian will take on Mechanicsville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Midlothian, after both having extra time off, they and Manchester will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
