On Friday Northeast's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Chesapeake Cougars. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Chesapeake, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Coming up, Northeast will face off against Glen Burnie at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Chesapeake, they will head out on the road to square off against Old Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Old Mill will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Chesapeake surely won't give up without a fight.
