Volleyball Recap: Alleghany Trojans vs. North Stokes Vikings
Alleghany had to endure a 13-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the North Stokes Vikings on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.
Alleghany never let North Stokes on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alleghany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lilly Carrillo, who had eight digs, seven aces, and six kills. Alleghany picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-15. As for North Stokes, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.
Alleghany wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against East Wilkes on the 30th. As for North Stokes, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Patrick County on the 30th.
