Basketball Recap: Capital College & Career Academy Comes Up Short

Capital College & Career Academy played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Trinity Christian Eagles and fell 70-15. The Ants were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-11.

Mathew Daniel was his usual excellent self, putting up 26 points for Trinity Christian. Daniel is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Giovanni Perez was another key player, posting ten points.

Capital College & Career Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Trinity Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capital College & Career Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pine Hills Adventist at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Trinity Christian, they will take on Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
