Basketball Recap: McClain Takes a Loss

McClain lost against Washington back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McClain Tigers lost to the Washington Blue Lions at home by a 52-38 margin. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Bryson Heath was the offensive standout of the match as he posted nine points and six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacob Lindsey, who had ten points and six rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, McClain fell to 2-1. As for Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

McClain will head out on the road to square off against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-41 victory against South Point on the 15th.
