Basketball Game Preview: Temecula Valley Golden Bears vs. Granite Hills Cougars

The Temecula Valley Golden Bears are taking a road trip to face off against the Granite Hills Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Temecula Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Temecula Valley picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-52 win over Arrowhead Christian.

Granite Hills kicked off their season on the road last Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 71-21 loss at the hands of Silver Valley. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-12.

Temecula Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Granite Hills, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything came up roses for Temecula Valley against Granite Hills when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 89-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Bears since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
