Baseball Recap: Hico Starts Season with Win Against Oglesby

Hico gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They blew past Oglesby 16-5.

The team relied heavily on Tyler Hunt, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Cade Wilson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Oglesby's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hico has already played their next matchup, a 14-0 win against Blum on the 25th. As for Oglesby, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Hamilton on the 25th.
