Soccer Game Preview: Basha vs. Shadow Ridge

The Basha Bears will take on the Shadow Ridge Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Basha is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Basha lost 6-2 to Boulder Creek back in December of 2024. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Amy Tan wasn't going to let Boulder Creek walk away unscathed as she scored both of Basha's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, Shadow Ridge opened the new year with a less-than-successful 3-1 defeat to Paradise Honors.

Basha's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Shadow Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Basha beat Shadow Ridge 3-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Basha repeat their success, or does Shadow Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
