Mercy Career & Technical easily dispatched Pine Forge Academy on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Mercy Career & Technical fell just short of Mesivta by a score of 58-56 on Wednesday. The loss was Mercy Career & Technical's first of the season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Anthony Caple, who posted 25 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Taji Stewart, who put up 17 points.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Kohelet Yeshiva's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Barrack Hebrew Academy.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mercy Career & Technical fell to 3-1. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Mercy Career & Technical couldn't quite finish off Kohelet Yeshiva in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 and fell 55-52. Can Mercy Career & Technical avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
