Volleyball Recap: London Comes Up Short

The London Red Raiders came up short against the New Lexington Panthers on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sam Webb paced London's offense, picking up eight kills. Webb got some help from Madi Green and her 12 assists. Webb was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Gracie Newlon was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and two aces.

London's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for New Lexington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

London has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Tecumseh on the 2nd. As for New Lexington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Logan Elm on the 30th.
