Basketball Recap: Arkansas City Takes a Loss

Arkansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Eisenhower Tigers, falling 71-28. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-11.

It was another big night for Pierce Blue, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds for Eisenhower. What's more, Blue also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cohen Ho, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 16 points and five steals.

Arkansas City's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Eisenhower, their record is now 4-9.

Arkansas City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-41 defeat against Goddard on the 7th. As for Eisenhower, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-43 loss against Derby on the 7th.
