Softball Recap: Norwich RVT Comes Up Short

Norwich RVT couldn't beat Wheeler on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Warriors lost 24-9 to the Lions. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 17-2 to the Lions when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Norwich RVT has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Wheeler, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, Norwich RVT will take on Vinal RVT at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheeler, they will be playing at home against Montville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
