Volleyball Game Preview: Wachusett Regional Mountaineers vs. Concord-Carlisle Patriots

The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers will head out on the road to take on the Concord-Carlisle Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Concord-Carlisle took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wachusett Regional, who comes in off a win.

Concord-Carlisle will be up against a hot Wachusett Regional team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Mountaineers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Nashoba Regional on Friday.

One reason for the win was Wachusett Regional's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Concord-Carlisle suffered their biggest loss since September 25th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Westford Academy. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Concord-Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Wachusett Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
