Basketball Recap: Madison Park Academy Comes Up Short

Madison Park Academy was the 52-44 winner over Impact Academy of Arts & Technology when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Madison Park Academy Trojan-Warriors fell just short of the Impact Academy of Arts & Technology Spartans by a score of 34-31 on Wednesday. The loss was the Trojan-Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Madison Park Academy fell to 2-1. As for Impact Academy of Arts & Technology, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Madison Park Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coliseum College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Impact Academy of Arts & Technology, they will venture away from home to challenge Leadership at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
