Volleyball Game Preview: DeLaSalle Islanders vs. Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the DeLaSalle Islanders and the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. DeLaSalle is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

DeLaSalle proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Highland Park, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Islanders have posted since October 12, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (107-98) DeLaSalle actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 18-16.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cretin-Derham Hall, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Roosevelt with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday.

DeLaSalle's record now sits at 14-4. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, their record is now 21-4.
